Google - more than just a search engine!

Today I've discovered another thing Google can do!

I already knew it could act as a currency converter:
what is £10 in dollars
10CAD in CHF

And as a converter for almost anything else you could think of.
5 ft 4 inches in cm
7lb 6oz in kg
how many square feet in a hectare

It knows scientific constants too!
speed of sound

Plus act as a calculator for the simple...
what is seventeen times two

...or the more complex.
cube root of 7138

And it can combine more than one operation, clever clogs!
20% of £6.95 in CAD
£1.43 per litre in USD per gallon

It can tell you the local time anywhere in the world,
time sydney

Or when the sunrise is,
sunrise london

And when a flight will land (I discovered this the day before my brother arrived home from 5 months travelling the world).

You can use it to search a site which has a rubbish search of its own (ahem, Folksy!)
blue kindle cover site:folksy.com
But today, thanks to Mashable, I discovered it can also plot graphs! Like this one. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
sqrt(cos(x))*cos(300x)+sqrt(abs(x))-0.7)*(4-x*x)^0.01, sqrt(6-x^2), -sqrt(6-x^2) from -4.5 to 4.5

PS There are lots of hidden tricks called "easter eggs" in Google too. Try typing "askew" into google to see what I mean, and there's a list of more here.
